AEDIB|NET Final Summit 9th of October 2023 in Kigali (Rwanda) After three years of bridging African and European innovation ecosystems and shaping the collaboration between Digital Innovation Hubs across continents, we are delighted to invite you to the Final Summit of AEDIB|NET: Inspiring, Creating and Connecting African and European Innovation Ecosystems. The Final Summit, which will take place on the 9th of October 2023 in Kigali (Rwanda), will be the perfect occasion to reflect, learn, share and discuss some of the main outcomes and promises of what we achieved together. From the concept of Digital Innovation Hubs on the African continent to opportunities for funding and investment, from the cooperation with corporates to the role of academia in ecosystems, and more. In addition, the Summit will be the opportunity to lay the foundation for AEDIB 2.0 and to discuss how we can best strengthen and connect innovation ecosystems in the future, to discuss what partnerships we need and who wants to be part of it. Also, you will be inspired by keynotes and panel discussions held by the AEDIB|NET community of African and European digital innovation stakeholders, European Commission and European Member States representatives, as well as private sector partners from both continents. The event will take place back-to-back with the AfriLabs Annual Gathering “Accelerating Africa’s Digital Economy” which brings together Tech Hubs from all over Africa. The city will be full of innovative spark, creativity and progressive energy – just the perfect environment for us to shape the future of Digital Innovation Hubs across the continent as well as strengthen the collaboration between African and European innovation ecosystems.
