How technology transfer and intellectual property rights can foster your company Trademarks and patents are the perfect tools to boost technology transfer, an underestimated methodology capable of fostering your business in unexpected ways. In this webinar we will show why technology transfer and intellectual property rights (IPRs) are important for your company and what kind of impact you can expect. Moreover, we will show how technology transfer is born and grows, and what tools you need to support it such as trademarks and patents. 20th May at 2 PM CEST   Lucia Bonventre  Lucia is a Lawyer and a Research Fellow at the Italian Space Agency - Innovation & Technology Transfer Unit. Her professional career started soon after she obtained a 5-year Master’s Degree in Law at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome (2008-2013). For many years she has been working in different law firms and she specialized in matters related to International Law, Intellectual Property Law, Civil Law and Administrative Law. She has been attending many courses and postgraduate masters such as the Specialization Course in European Funding and Projects at Roma TRE University (2020), the Technology and International Policies Specialization Course at IAI - Institute for International Affairs (2019), the Executive Master in Open Innovation and Intellectual Property at LUISS Business School of Rome & SAA School of Management of Turin (2018-19), the Postgraduate Master in Space Institutions and Policies at SIOI - United Nation Association of Italy (2018), the Postgraduate Specialization School for Legal Professions at La Sapienza University (2013-15).     Tanya Scalia Aerospace Engineering MSc and PhD in Space Technologies. She joined FiatAvio in 2002 (AVIO from 2003), worldwide leader in the aerospace industry, as Project Engineer in the Space Propulsion Design Unit, where she mainly worked on Ariane 5 and Vega solid rocket motors performances. In 2005, she joined D'Appolonia (Rina Consulting from 2016), an engineering consultancy company, as Project Manager, and worked in Aerospace&Defence industrial projects. In particular, she was deeply involved in the European Space Agency Technology Transfer Programme, as technology broker. She has been working, since 2005, in the coordination and management of research projects funded within the European Framework Programmes and also had the opportunity of evaluating H2020 proposals for REA (Research Executive Agency). She has recently joined ASI in the Innovation & Technology Transfer Unit.
