Tahko Ski Lift Pitch, eastern Finland’s biggest startup event, offers an energising skiing experience in snowy Tahko for all business minded people (yup, that’s you)! The pitch event itself is the largest SLP Growth Community which consists of business professionals, investors, academic institutions, and civic leaders. Tahko Ski Lift Pitch pitching contest is one of a kind pitching competition that takes place in a Tahko Mountain’s ski lift! The two – day contest starts on Wednesday 6th of April with three pitching tracks, which are

1.) Future of Industry
2.) AI & Data in Business and
3.) Crazy track

On Thursday 7th of April contest moves to the Tahko slopes, where the best pitchers meet the investors in a ski lift! The best pitcher will ski down with 10000 € cash prize!

Depending on the business idea and / or innovation, start-ups can apply to the track, which resonates the most. On Wednesday all start ups will pitch in the stage in the front of Track Jurys. Representatives of partner companies (in Future of Industry-track and AI & Data in Business -track) will rate your pitch and the solutions. In practice this means that participating start-ups will have both a change to close a deal with the partner organisations and to win the 10000 € cash prize at one go!

Jury of Crazy track is formed of angel investors and VC’s screening potential investment targets.

Future of Industry -track

Ideal applicants have a pre-tested product or concept and is looking for potential customers. Jury will also focus on the strength of the mission and business model and team.

Crazy track

Start ups from early stage to scale ups looking to raise funds or close deals are warmly welcomed to enrol to the contest via Crazy Track! Ideal applicants have a strong mission and scalable business model, strong team and is ready for an investment.
