IASP is the leading association of innovation ecosystems worldwide. Our mission is to be the global network for science parks (STPs), innovation districts, knowledge cities and other areas of innovation (AOIs), driving growth, internationalization and effectiveness for our members.

As hybrid spaces for entrepreneurial-minded people, areas of innovation play a key role in the sustainable economic development of their cities and regions, and IASP works as their global platform, coordinating an active network of innovation ecosystem managers. We enhance new business opportunities for members and their companies, increase their visibility and multiply their global connections. We also represent parks and areas of innovation at international forums and institutions, and assist the development of new STPs and AOIs.

IASP Virtual, the 37th annual IASP World Conference, is the main networking event of our association, gathering an ever-increasing number of delegates and speakers from all over the world, linking global innovation leaders and experts. With focus on “The human factor: people, communities and their innovation ecosystems” we will explore several layers of our innovation spaces, including the impact of the the Covid-19 pandemic and how it is changing the way we operate and do business.
