Please join us for the third Amazon Sustainability Accelerator Demo Day at the Barbican Auditorium.

​​We will open with commentary from Amazon’s UK Country Manager John Boumphrey, and hear pitches from 8 incredible start-ups pioneering sustainable innovation in consumer-facing products. This will be followed by networking amongst venture and angel investors, sustainability thought leaders and founders.

​​The Demo Day and the start-up’s pitches are the culmination of a bespoke 10-week equity-free programme, supported by EIT Climate-KIC and Growth Studio, in which founders have navigated the challenges of starting and scaling a sustainable business and benefited from expert-led workshops, specialised mentorship, a tailored curriculum and much more.

​The Start-ups:

• ​ PAINT ZERO – revolutionary fossil fuel free and convenient paint. PAINT ZERO is innovative concentrated decor paint, that mixed with tap water delivers a colour-rich full strength interior paint in 90 seconds.
• ​MYOM (Make Your Own Milk) – clean, ambient oat milk premix sold in small recyclable pouches with no water added at the factory and without any compromise to taste, price, or nutrition.
• ​ASAN – world’s easiest menstrual cup to insert and remove, aiming at solving two problems: period poverty and tampon waste.
• ​Ops Clean – alternative to traditional laundry detergents using hypoallergenic and pollutants-free magnesium pellets.
• ​Zig+Star – innovative, stylish and cost-effective children footwear design that increases the fit of shoes, lasting approx. 6 months longer.
• ​ReBorn – range of homeware products from locally sourced recycled materials and circular by design.
• ​Morrow – sustainable, cost-competitive alternative to coffee made from locally grown crops and upcycled ingredients, replicating the flavour and aroma compounds of conventional coffee.
• ​Zen Running Club – a sustainable performance running shoe, with significantly higher bio-content than our competition, and performance credentials that rival traditional running shoes.
