EBAN Health Webinar: Health Trends and Technology in an Aging Society
May 8, 2019 @ 00:00
We are pleased to invite you to our EBAN Health Webinar – May 8th at 15:00 PM CEST. EBAN Health aims to bring together all EBAN members interested in investing in health startups and/or learning about market and investment related trends in this sector.
This one-hour webinar will cover current trends in health technologies, what the senior & aging care industry wants from health innovations, and existing challenges and opportunities. The webinar will also feature a case study on medical virtual reality.
The main driver of rising long-term care expenditure is the aging population which all countries in Europe are experiencing. Currently, people over 65 consume 60% of health care resources. The rapid increase in population aging is paralleled by the exponential growth in the use of technologies. Private investments within this field are soaring in the US but the same can’t be said for Europe.
