AAL Programme – Call 2019 Info Day
January 31, 2019 @ 00:00
The 2019 AAL call Info day will take place on 31st January 2019 in Brussels. Save this on your calendar and do not miss the opportunity to learn more about this new funding opportunity while meeting potential project partners!
Other than listening to the experts of the Programme on this year call’s specificities, you will have the possibility to assist an interactive panel discussion. The discussion will focus on the different market requirements for deploying AAL solutions, i.e. the consumer-oriented ‘silver economy’ markets as well as the more Business to Business ‘regulated markets’ for health and care. For that purpose, different market players are invited to the panel.
Furthermore, the AAL will offer you a chance to pitch your project idea, while providing you with an opportunity to engage with potential future partners and start planning your project proposal for 2018. Do not miss this opportunity and develop your short presentation by following the instructions (see below).
The topic of the 2019 call is “Sustainable Smart Solutions for Ageing well”. The aim of this call is to support innovative, transnational and multi-disciplinary collaborative projects.
The AAL Call 2019 has the following key features:
– The AAL Call 2019 is open to collaborative projects developing ICT-based solutions by targeting any application area(s) within the AAL domain (the call document will provide information on the relevant AAL taxonomy and the specified target markets)
– The AAL Call 2019 allows for more flexibility regarding the scope, size and duration of the submitted projects by including small collaborative projects.
“Collaborative projects” (carried out by consortia composed of at least 3 organisations from 3 different countries including an end user organisation and a business partner) will remain a funding tool of this call.
Next to the “Collaborative projects”, a new and agiler project tool will be introduced: The Small Collaborative project.
Small collaborative projects have a duration of maximum 9 months, a maximum co-funding budget of €300.000 and leaner application and reporting procedures. The main objective of the small collaborative projects is the exploration of new ideas, concepts and approaches for ICT-based solutions for older adults. They should reach out to new stakeholders for inclusion in (future) development of AAL solutions, build strong collaborations with end-user organisations, support community building with new customers and create shared agendas.
